So, as hard as it is to believe…Jacque and Tiffany are wrong…Charlie is not a cow.  He is a pretty cute dog!

Friday was great with band camp coming to a close..I love to see the performance on that Friday, as in only two weeks
everyone has really come together to do something that looks spectacular.  I’m looking forward to band season, when I
can see more of the kids I have come to love and meet new ones whose lives will impact mine in some way, and whose
lives I may impact with or without my knowing it.  That’s the way it works when you live with God–it’s all about relationships
. 

Summer is over, and I’m most going to miss Wednesday lunches with my wonderful youth group.  Yes, TAYLOR, MELISSA,
ALI, KATIE, KATIE, COURTNEY, ALLIE, GINNY, CHRISTIE, ROB, CHRISTIAN, DAVID, CHIP,BRAD, PARKER,
 KALLIE, MORGAN, EVANS, MARY, JODY, MATT, and WILL are some of the most fun people to eat lunch with.  I’ve
probably left someone out, but you get the picture.  We have a wonderful group, and I love them just the way they are! 

Parker has decided that playing in the band at the middle school is not what he wants to do this year, but he still wants to play with
the Praise Band at youth–so that’s good.  Maybe this year, we’ll have more nights that his friends can come over and hang out.  We
have two boys, and we certainly don’t just want to entertain the friends of one.  We just know and love Chip’s friends, and they’re
usually great about including Parker, so it’s been a win-win situation.  But, maybe this year, he’ll want to have some of his own group
over.  My grocery bill may go up again…and I couldn’t be happier!
