Susan, you have the beautiful gift of expression, telling of your experience with Uncle David and Mr. L. Everywhere you go you spread light and compassion and bless us, your readers, by turning our attention to the beauty and goodness in uncomfortable situations. NOW—try the Power of Positive Thinking on the canine friends who bedevil you….it just might work!

I really enjoyed reading this, Susan. Such a sweet story about Bernie’s uncle. It was so sweet of you to go and spend time with him toward the end. One of the hardest things for me over the past 26 years as a nurse is to see a patient die alone. Being sick is bad enough, but being alone and sick is horrible. Thanks for being there for him in his time of need. I’m sure your sweet smile brightened many days for him. Kim Suggs

I’m so glad I had the opportunity of knowing Uncle David. Such a sweet man, from a special family.
