I know that not all of you who read my posts are Christians.  Just in case you didn’t know, I am praying that God will soften your hearts
to Him.  I love the Lord with all my heart and soul, and I realize that sometimes churches and Christians give God a bad name in your
eyes.  My prayer is that you will give God a chance to love you and show you true love.  You are precious to me!

Speaking of people who are precious to me.  My youth group girls and guys are the most wonderful things! I will miss Sunday evenings
with them, but God has plans for all of us that are different than how they’ve been for the past few years.  I’ve talked to a few of you, but
there are many I haven’t been able to speak with yet–Jill is a wonderful leader and is bringing terrific new adults to help out on Sunday
nights.  You will hardly know I’m not there.  In fact, you might decide you like it better.  Who knows!  I love you, though, and I’m still
going to be right here–available for coffee or whatever else you dream up whenever you’d like.

Now, here’s a little something a friend sent, and I thought you might enjoy it.

Cell Phone vs. Bible

I wonder what would happen if we treated our

Bible like we treat our cell phones?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as gifts?

What if we used it as we traveled?

What if we used it in case of an emergency?

What if we upgraded it to get the latest version?

This is something to make you go…hmmm…where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don’t ever have

 to

 worry

about our bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill!

thank you sooo much for talking to me tonight. you have helped me in ways i cant even describe to you. i am so glad i know i can come to you with anything. its comforting. and i appreciate (dont think i spelled that right) all you have done for me.
i dont think you realize how much you mean to the youth group, especially the sr high girls. we will most definitely miss high lows. and we never made our t-shirts. i think we should get on that… soon. and starbucks is a must… maybe once a month we could get together and go, then do high lows.

i love you. thank you sooo much!
