Last night was a lot of fun…at least that’s what I’ve heard.  I was there for a short part of the night, before the kids left the church for MTSU.  Here’s some of what was going on…

It was Joe’s birthday…25!  Don’t you love his nametag proclaiming him Birthday Boy?
Can you believe that Christie, that SWEET girl, would stick her tongue out at me?  She didn’t do it just once, but twice!  What a friend!  I do love her.
     See anyone else you know?
I think Taylor gave like 80 highs and 80 lows…It was Kate’s turn to tell her life story in 30 seconds.  I’ll bet Bill and Rita didn’t know it could be told so quickly!  We love having all of these friends come, too!

Chip’s gone to Brennan’s tonight. I’m sure he was thrilled to have an evening with Beth, as well.   Parker and Chip and Bernie have worked so hard in the yards today (ours and our neighbor’s).  I’m sure proud of all of them!  I worked hard too…pulled a ton of weeds, but I guess I kind of overdid it.  They thought I was stroking out…so did I!  I just need more rest than I’ve been getting, less heat, and just a lot of prayer.  I have no desire to relapse into life a few years ago!  I guess it’s all about balancing everything in our lives.

See you tomorrow (Sunday)!

Don’t over-do! You have plenty of help there…..use it. I just wish my teenaged help lived closer and didn’t have jobs! There is so much to do around here that I seem to be overwhelmed and do nothing. Can’t keep doing that!
