I am officially worn out.  I have a birthday lunch for two friends today, so I’ll just get the garbage to the street and then rest my bones until time to leave.  This is not a convenient time to feel like this.  Bernie went out of town, and I didn’t get any big projects completed.  He’ll be thrilled, but it leaves me feeling a sense of failure—my goal is to always accomplish something that might delight him when he arrives back home.  I know, a lot of you are thinking, “That Miss Susan, she’s kind of wacky!”  Well, I am what I am.  Life is never dull with me around–I can tell you that!

The Jazz Cavies and the Siegel Singers put on an incredible show last night!  Chip’s solo was wonderful, as were the other soloists–both insrumental and vocal.  It was a wonderful night.  The food was great, my date was charming (Parker), and the entertainment was well worth the money.  I’ll have to post a picture or two later today.

So, what will you all do this weekend? I know the cheerleaders are going to Gatlinburg–I promised Kelsey and Beth I’d pray for the girls to do their best, to have a great time, and to remain safe in God’s watchful care.  What about the rest of you?  Anyone going to see Siegel High School play basketball?  Parker has an early morning tomorrow at the percussion festival, so we’ll need to hit the hay earlier than the game will allow.  But I did get to watch Kentucky win yesterday morning.

Allie, I’m so glad you’re my friend!  Hope I see all of you on Sunday, as we continue our study of SEX!  I won’t be at the late service that morning because I’ll be at Trinity Methodist watching my favorite girl, Audrey, be baptized.  Glory!

Edit..here’s what Chip looked like at the Cabaret, and I’m trying to post a short video clip so you can hear him… Well, the clip is too big, though not THAT big.  Oh well, go to this link and click the picture of the video camera.  You can see and hear some of the Jazz Cavies!   http://www.ofoto.com/I.jsp?c=16mfd3o2.15a55fd2&x=0&h=1&y=-7icgfw

Of course, I cant’ leave Parker out, so here’s a pic of him from Cotillion…with his mom, in a limo, and standing beside the limo.  He had a great time!
