We come home from San Diego Wednesday night, and I’ll be so glad to be with my family.  It’s been wonderful being in California, though.  Bernie and I have really enjoyed being with the other couples from MTEMC.  Today, we went to Tijuana, Mexico.  I didn’t like it…it was dirty, there were children begging, and I just wanted to come home.  I think God has so pierced my heart with others’ pain, and there is a lot of pain there, I think.  Of course, I could be wrong.  Maybe they like begging everyone who comes by.  Maybe that’s fun for them, and it’s probably the only way of life they’ve known.  My thinking that they could have “better” is based on what I’ve known in my life, not what they may or may not enjoy.  I don’t know…have you all ever conisdered that?

Hope you get snowed out of school on Thursday–it would be awesome!  Will post some new photos soon.

I know that you will really be glad to see home again…..but I’m really glad that you have had a good trip. I am sure that it really tugged at your heart to see the kids begging. I know that kids did the same thing in Vietnam and Afghanistan. I’m sure that it goes on far more that we know. We are just not used to seeing it on a daily basis.

Um Hmm…..So you went to Tijuana after all.  You would have enjoyed Coronado Island and Sea Port Village more.  HOWEVER, I am glad you are home…….you didn’t miss the plane again, did you?  Charlie had his shots yesterday, and is feeling poorly.  How ’bout giving him a quick call.  ILY,  EPWB
