Where has the time gone?  I haven’t gotten lost, but the time has not been my own lately.  We just finished Christmas dinner with Bernie’s family.  It’s the first time any of them have been here in a number of years.  We had a really nice visit.  Chip and I left home at 6:00 this morning for Mid-State auditions.  He didn’t feel like he did well at all, though I’ve heard him practice it with near perfection.  If he makes it or not, it doesn’t tell you what kind of trumet player he is, just how he does under pressure.

Lots of people to pray for these days.  Please especially remember in your prayers all of the families affected by the war in Iraq.  God’s plan is perfect, but it is not always easy to understand.

I didn’t feel good about my Midstate last week, but I still made second Jazz band. I think Midstate’s a bad system, especially with all the pressure band directors put on you to try out. But Chip’s a good player, it wouldn’t surprise me if he makes it.
