This is not the first time I’ve updated in a week, but the last time I did the computer just shut down while I was picking my music.  Technology…it’s not always all it’s cracked up to be.

I’m really encouraged about my visit to Bio Energy last week.  Their tests showed much of what I already knew, as far as MS symptoms go, but also showed high levels of dioxin, a weed killer, and polyester, I guess from the leisure suit days–can’t figure that one out.  So, I’m trying some homeopathic remedies to help remove the toxins, and some to help rebuild the myelin sheath around my nerves.  God is faithful, and His plans aren’t always plain to see–we have to do a little work.  Maybe this is where He wants me to be right now.

Parker is reading another book for AR–he needs 9 more points by the end of the day on Friday.  Yikes!  He’ll probably make it, though, knowing him.  Chip is working on Math problems and Reading.  He is going with Brad and Martha and the church group to Sir Pizza.  We didn’t want to go because last year’s experience there was so bad.  Parker will read while he eats, and Bernie and I can visit for a bit.

OK—MY 40th Birthday is Friday!  Yes, I love birthdays–always have, and I suppose I always will think they are a great time to celebrate.  It doesn’t matter to me whether it’s my birthday or someone else’s.  I just think they’re wonderful!  This is like a milestone age…16, 18, 21, and now 40.  30 wasn’t a big deal really, but 40 sounds like I’ve finally reached some kind of adulthoodedness.  Hmmm…not a word, I know.

Hope this finds all of you having a great week.  We had Carter Marie here yesterday, and we had the best time fishing for tadpoles and minnows!  Of course, there is a really fat, bloated, dead tadpole in the pond now, so I guess I should go fish him out.  Yuck!

Love,
Susan
