What a day! The boys and I went to Opry Mills for most of the day, so they could go to Jillians. It’s like one of their favorite things to do whenever they are on break. They had a great time, and I took them shopping for some “springier” clothes after. We drove home in the pouring rain, got stuck in traffic, and watched old Siegel Morning News videos while driving. No, I didn’t watch, but they did. I’m looking for specific people, and the boys are trying to help pinpoint which tapes I need to use. That was lots of fun! I ran into the house, threw a bag together, and ran out the door to go to my mom’s house. That’s where I am right now. We’ve had the best time looking through old letters, pictures, recipes, and more. My grandmother had wonderful recipes, and we came across some in her handwriting—really a neat find! I hope you all have had a great day, and a great spring break. Melissa, I don’t know how you all could have played in the bushes anyway, with all the rain. What a mess. I love you all—see ya on Sunday!
Oh, the book is great so far. After a recent round of trivia, I felt that my brain must be turning to mush, so I’m doing my best to give it some muscle. I’ll let you know how it goes.
