Rejection. What a horrible word. It makes me feel very small. I risk being rejected every time I write in this thing. What if it doesn’t mean anything to anyone? What if they choose not to even read it? You all risk rejection every day, don’t you?
Risk rejection…just speaking to another person means we risk their rejecting us. Can you relate? Guess what, even if your friends have rejected you, or your family has rejected you, God has not rejected you! Friend, Jesus was so rejected by so many people…to the point of being crucified. He knows exactly how you feel. He will never reject your love.
Filling our emptiness with the wrong things…it’s so easy, isn’t it? If we feel rejected by one group of people, we search for a group that won’t reject us, even if it means doing wrong things. We search in our sadness for anything that will make us feel better, that will fill our void.
Please, give it to God. Let him fill your empty spots, let him build you up, let him love you.
Have a great day, wherever you are. Remember, God so loved ______(your name) that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him won’t perish, but will have everlasting life. I love you!
