Monday…nothing like hitting the week running!  tennis, trumpet, dinner, and now Western Kentucky basketball.  I’m exhausted already.  I guess I’ll need to slow down the rest of the week, or I’ll be struggling by Friday.
I heard that the county schools only go part of the day on Friday.  I guess you’re pretty pumped about that.   Spring break will be here before we know it, too.

Have you ever thought about running away from home?  I did when I was really little–I left a note for my parents saying that I would be in the tree in the neighbor’s yard if they needed me.  I was home before dark!  It was cute, but my frustration with life was not cute, it was frustrating and real.  I would have been too scared to really run away as I got old enough to understand what that meant, but I knew someone who ran away.  It’s not a great experience, and it’s better to work things out.  Sometimes that’s easier said than done, isn’t it?  If you think life is too much to handle, please talk to me or to someone else that you trust.  I know it’s hard to face life some days.  Parents don’t always act the way you wish they would.  But don’t run away from it through really running or by doing drugs or drinking, or trying to find love in the wrong places.  Oh, sweet friends, don’t let it get the better of you.  You are so special, you know!
