Super Bowl was a fun event this year, albeit a little different from what we had anticipated.  I wish you could have seen Bernie’s face when Dr. Garth announced from the pulpit that the Super Bowl Party for the Youth Group would be at a different location…the Steen’s.  Oh, my!  It was a funny sight!  Bernie is a good sport, though, and we had a wonderful time with around 35 people at our house.  I’m sad for the Shoemakers, though, as they were home mourning the loss of a beloved pet.  Anyone who has a pet understands how hard it is to lose an animal that is part of the family.

Thanks to Chris for getting our drums set up properly.  He was really kind in saying that I hadn’t done too badly in my initial set-up.  Here are some pics from the evening…

Julie kept Sandy on the leash for me…Steph, Emmy, and Joe were being funny…Christie, David, and Kyle were eating and talking, and Ryan was wondering if we were all OK.

Morgan and Brad were busy cell phoning, while Taylor tried to take it all in!

Taylor, in case you wondered, your pink arm thingy is still at my house!

It was a great night!  Jay calls me the Wing Nazi…but he got to eat plenty of wings!

Have a great week!  Leave some messages…I love hearing from you!
