I took Parker to meet up with a bunch of friends at the movies last night. We saw Coach Carter, and it was really great. No, I didn’t sit right with them, and I didn’t talk to them. I know my place! It was good to see a movie, though, since I don’t go very often. The Mid State Concert was awesome–it’s amazing that kids who have never played music together can work so quickly to sound so great!
No school tomorrow. Yes, I’m thrilled! I can clean house, which I enjoy doing, since there is such a sense of accomplishment when you’re through. Maybe I can even clean through some of my piles of clutter. I know what the boys will do…play X-Box…such excitement!
SKI TRIP WAS SO FUN! I am so bummed you missed it! I think everybody had a blast! Brad didnt make us over this year though! haha! Ahh! It was so fun! It snowed, too! It was so pretty! I wish you could’ve been there but there is always next year! Love you*melissa*
We are looking forward to seeing Coach Carter! Especially since hubby is a retired basketball coach/teacher. I believe that I will get the last of my Christmas decorations put away today! YAY! I really hate the bare look that replaces where the lights have been. At night in my house during Christmas, it looks like the whole house is lit by candle light. I love it! And with our gloomy weather the lights are a comfort(I think I suffer from light deprevation)
Yep, my hubby coached/taught at Hillsboro High School in Metro Nashville for 29 yrs. He finished up his career at DCA(seven years) I’ve sat on MANY a bleacher over those years!
