Today is Wednesday, and yet another person has gone to begin the eternal part of life.  Justin Rhodes had non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and was the nephew of my sweet friend Lisa.  Though cancer won this battle, Justin ultimately won the war–he is with God and will be there forever!  Please pray as you read this that Justin’s family and friends will allow God’s grace to envelop them and keep them mindful of the joy that is in Him.

Oakland had a soccer match on Monday, so I went to see Steph play, and to see Taylor warm the bench with her wounded leg.  They won for the first time this year–Yay!!!

Parker’s report card came yesterday, and he made honor roll.  It was quite a shock considering what a struggle this first nine weeks has been.  He was thrilled, and I hope that it helps him to feel encouraged about the rest of the year’s possibilities.

I spent the day with my mother yesterday, and it was just so nice.  We managed to get some papers filed, empty a few more boxes, and just plain enjoy each other.

Gotta get to work on stuff for tonight’s program at church.  May God guard your lips today to speak only things that are true and uplifting.

There has been so many heart wrenching teen deaths in Murf. in the last year. I know it is hard to understand……but God is sovereign and loves us all more than we can fathom.
