Friday–hard to believe. I am so hopeful that my friend Lisa will continue to be a survivor of cancer. What a struggle it has been for her, and for her family. She has begun chemo again–this is her fourth time to face this incredible foe. I guess the real lesson for us all is to pray for God’s will and for strength and courage for each person affected. How cruel this disease can be, and yet God is an incredibly loving creator who works everything for our good. Hope.
The boys and I met my brother’s family at Chuckee Cheeses today for a birthday party for one of my nephews. It was a lot of fun for everyone. Chip had to leave for an hour, though, because of trumpet lessons. I am sure that he would rather not have to leave fun activities, but to be competitive it is necessary to continue to train.
Did I forget to write yesterday that we went to the pool with the Troutt’s? We had a great time, and it’s always fun to spend time with friends.
It is definitely time for me to go to bed. My energy level just isn’t what it once was.
This is my daddy with the boys when they
