EDIT: Did I tell you that I was published? It was very exciting to open up
the Daily News Journal to read the Letters to the Editor, in Friday’s paper,
and what should I discover? There were no Letters to the Editor…but there
was a “Guest Columnist…” ME! I was so surprised that it was in there that
way. It was very nice of them to do that, and I hope that everyone had a
chance to read what I wrote. Yay!
Rainy rainy day! It’s cold and kind of yucky outside, isn’t it?
Chip didn’t swim today, because he hasn’t been there all week,
but his grades are improving. Things are looking up, his teacher
is finding papers that were missing, and this study class should help
him a lot. He’s going to movie night tonight at the Evans’ house. I’m
kind of bummed, though, because it means that movie night won’t be
here. Shucks!
Parker and Mary are no longer an item. He says that he’s ok with it and
that being single is more fun. They’ll still be friends, I’m sure, since they
were such great friends before all of this. We really like their family, so
hopefully nothing will really change.
Bernie’s company Christmas party is tonight. It will be packed with people.
I guess we’ll go, especially since there are no kids coming over–I have no
reason to stay home.
