(Read as if it were Tuesday): Today was my birthday lunch with my mother, Aunt Trish, and cousin Vanessa. It was really nice! The visit was shorter than most, but it was so much fun to spend time laughing with people who know practically everything. Parker thought it would be great if the three of them would talk in double talk while I had to listen, since I’m the only one who can’t do that. Grrrrr.
The guard got new uniforms tonight. Chip said they were really nice. I wouldn’t let Parker stay in the room because we had originally planned on fitting the girls where we were. He was surely disappointed. The evening went much faster, though, as the girls ran down to the bathroom, threw on their uniforms, ran back upstairs, and we all oohed and aahed over them. Even the girls who thought they would look too large were really pleased with how it looked, and I would agree it looked great on them.
