Tomorrow is the first full day of school for the boys, though Thursday was the first official day of school. Sara has gone on to Knoxville, the boys have some new clothes for school, and Parker is back in his room. Life is returning as close to normal as we know it around here. 
They are definitely growing up–as is Felix. Thanks to all who have
inquired as to Felix’s health. He is doing so well! He is just the sweetest
kitten/cat.
The first football game is this coming Friday night, followed by my birthday
on Saturday. Of course, Bernie has the MTEMC Annual Meeting at MTSU
all day on Saturday, too. Always lands on my birthday weekend. Hmmmm…
Mother, my aunt Trish, and my cousin Vanessa are coming to take me to lunch
on Tuesday. I’m very excited. I haven’t seen Mother since she was here for her
big birthday pampering, and haven’t seen Trish and Van in a bit longer.
Anyone know a dentist who wants to donate a teeth-whitening, or a doctor who wants
to donate some kind of skin treatment for our Band Booster Silent Auction? Pancakes
and the Auction will be the following Saturday, Aug. 27, so please buy your tickets, and
come hungry!!!
