I survived the night to find this devotion in my In Box this morning. I claimed His word all night…that he is with me, he comforts me, he does not abandon me. I am so grateful to have such concrete assurance of what I already know.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you; And through the
rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you
shall not be burned, Nor shall the
flame scorch you.
( Isaiah 43:2 *NKJV )
There are times in our life when we find ourselves in
difficult situations. Times when our faith is put to the test.
We may even feel that God has abandoned us, and that
we are all alone.
When you feel that way remember that it is written;
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we
may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not
fear. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:5-6)
Therefore, when you pass through the waters of difficulty,
and the flames of distress, know that God is always there
with you. For, The LORD is good, A stronghold in the
day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in
Him. ( Nahum 1:7 )
So Susan, always remember that you are walking,
hand in hand, with your Heavenly Father when those difficult
times arrive, and that He Loves You very much because
you are one of His beloved children!
